Being Free From The Depths Of Bitterness

Life is not easy. It will not be always written in happiness, laugh or joy. In other words, life is full of tragedy. People face disagreement, sorrow, cries, evil, and fights. As a human being, there are the times when they feel so down, surrounded by sadness. They feel so lonely until they find the only friend that accompanies them is just their own shadow. People realize that they can not stay in that condition. Otherwise, that condition will just only make them more buried in the misery, so people have their own strategies to set themselves free from those depths of bitterness. Accordingly, there are three things that people usually do. They listen to the music, share heart-to-heart with the beloved ones, and to be alone.

The first thing is listening to music. Many people love music. They listen to it any time especially when they are not in a good mood. They need something that can recharge the energy of their souls and make them re-energetic. Therefore, music is their escape. It is no doubt that music can raise up the mood. By listening to the songs that they like, the ones that are on their playlist, they will feel more relaxed. In addition, they listen to the songs that have motivational lyrics. When they listen to the every single word on those songs, they let the lyrics come inside their minds. Furthermore, they let those series of words melt in their hearts, and lead them to be liberated from their gloom. Choosing the songs that have up-beat tempos, singing, and dancing while listening to the songs will create the smile and cheerfulness on their faces.


The second example that people usually do when they are in a difficulty is sharing heart-to-heart with the beloved ones. They can be their friends, families, or lovers. Sometimes people can not stand on their own. They need others to lean on. They also need others to give them suggestions so that they get pleased again. Moreover when they have problems in their lives, they need to share it. They need to tell to their closed ones what they’re worrying about, what they’re afraid of, and what they’re complaining about. Furthermore their beloved ones will listen to what they say and amuse them. As a result, their beloved ones will advise them gently and give the solution that they need. Thus, sharing heart-to-heart will make people feel so much better.

The final example is being alone. It is true that when people are alone they feel empty, but it is not always miserable. People often do this when they need to, especially when they are in a difficulty. They take some times to do self-introspection. By being alone, it gives them a calm atmosphere to think clearly. To solve that difficulty, they need to consider about everything. They need to think about what their mistake is, what they should or should not do. It is necessary to listen to their hearts also, because what hearts say will never be wrong. Besides, praying to God is the most important thing to do when they are alone. At the beginning, they have such a no power to struggle. However, when they start to pray and leave everything to God, they will feel sincere and stronger. They feel peaceful because they believe that God will show the way to cope their difficulties. Praying to God will also create relief and hope for the better days. Therefore, being alone to do self-introspection and praying to God will make people alive.

All of the examples, listening to the music, sharing heart-to-heart to the beloved ones and being alone are what people usually do when they feel down. At the end, it depends on people themselves, which ones they want to do. Even though they choose different ways, but they have the same purpose. It is to help them feeling better, and setting them free from the bitterness in life.
